Mesurer!

As a measurement activity, we used yarn to measure the length of our "pas de géants". We chose books of different sizes and estimated how many would fit in our "pas de géants". Many of our estimations were very close! Next we estimated the length compared to a metre stick and then measured it exactly.

Ask your child what measurement (mm, cm, m, or km) they would use to measure various things in your home or when you're out in the community to get them thinking!
